About Michael Porcher

The Operational Reality

Most leadership consultants teach theory. They talk about "synergy" and "culture" from the safety of a seminar room.

My classroom was different. I learned leadership in logistics, security, and industrial operations—environments where a bad decision doesn't just cost money; it puts safety at risk.

For over a decade, I’ve worked in the trenches of high-pressure operations. I’ve seen what happens when communication breaks down between the boardroom and the front line. I’ve seen the cost of the "Experience Gap":

  • Senior Leaders with 30 years of tribal knowledge retiring without passing it on.

  • New Managers stepping up with energy but no roadmap, forced to learn by trial and error.

  • Teams stuck in "Firefighting Mode," fixing the same mistakes every single week.

The "Armchair General" Problem

Early in my career, I worked under managers who tried to lead from a spreadsheet. They were "Armchair Generals"—distant, reactive, and constantly looking for someone to blame.

I saw firsthand how this toxic style destroys morale, drives away top talent, and kills execution.

But I also realized something critical: Most managers aren't bad people. They are just using an outdated model. They think they need to be the Hero who saves the day, instead of the Guide who builds the team.

The Shift: Leadership Made Easy

I founded Leadership Made Easy to install a different operating system:
The Ownership Principle.

We partner with organizations to install The Ownership Principle which is a system that replaces "firefighting" with autonomous execution.

Whether you need to bridge the Experience Gap, fix a toxic culture, or turn managers into leaders, we build the roadmap to a self-sustaining team. We move beyond "controlling resources" to "releasing potential."

We don't do generic coaching. We install systems that:

  1. Transfer Tribal Knowledge before it walks out the door.

  2. Turn "Status Updates" into genuine coaching sessions.

  3. Build Self-Sustaining Teams that execute autonomously.

My Mission

My Mission is simple: To help you build a team that is so disciplined, capable, and ownership-driven that they win, even when you aren't in the room.
